Inspired by the story of the boys of Terezin, Lori Laitman, a contemporary award-winning composer, composed an oratorio entitled, Vedem, based on the writings of these teenage boys imprisoned in Terezin. During “Voices of Vedem” on May 31, Cherry Duke- accomplished soloist in opera, oratorio, and musical theater, Dr. Dena Kay Jones- acclaimed pianist- and Dr. David Ross- Professor of Music at University of Texas at El Paso and Principal Clarinet of the El Paso Symphony Orchestra- will perform these moving songs of Vedem.
