Dr. John Berners composer and professor of composition at the University of Indianapolis will be visiting to present a master class and student recital at UTEP. His music will be presented by voice students and faculty in this exciting evening. Dr. Berners music has been called “captivating” by The New York Times and vivid and cheeky by the Indy Star. Indianapolis Nuvo says, “delightfully surprising and quirky,” “all sorts of odd sounds,” and “near madness.”​
