2026, 2024 – Roméo & Juliette
Photos from a truncated adaptation of Charles Gounod’s opera, Roméo & Juliette, conceived and directed by Justin Lucero with conductor Maria Sensi Sellner. Produced at St. Rogers Depot in El Paso, Texas by El Paso Opera, the production was revived in 2026 by Resonance Works in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, at the New Hazlett Theatre.
Cherry played the role of Gertrude, Juliette’s confidante and nurse.
