Bassoon, piano, and voice! A combination you don’t hear on a single recital every day. Join Cara Luffey (bassoon), Nayeli Dousa (piano) and myself for an eclectic program of French and Latin American repertoire.

We will perform the rarely heard “L’invitation du voyage” by Chabrier as well as “Five Songs for Bassoon and Soprano” by Brazilian composer Francisco Mignone. Dr. Dousa and I will present 6 pieces by female composers: “Très Canciones para Mezzo-Soprano y piano” by Venezuelan-born Modesta Bor and three popular songs by Mexican composer Maria Grever.
